M C Graff Training & Consulting, LLC began serving clients in 2019.

 

This business concept arose soon after I left my most recent full time position.  For 25 years I devoted my attention primarily to supporting the financial function for a large medical practice.  On that journey we grew revenue by a factor of five and changed pretty much everything in the company along the way!

Before obtaining BBA and MAcc degrees at Michigan, and earning my CMA & CPA credentials, I pursued an entrepreneurial project, Clancy's Fancy Real Hot Sauce.  That company is still operating after more than 40 years.  As a younger man, I also worked in retail food service and wholesale food distribution.  Later I rediscovered a talent for systematic thinking and have led Accounting and IT functions, adding the CITP certificate along the way.

I was involved with the Bona Sera Restaurant in Ypsilanti as a partner and I enjoy feeling connected to that community while I cherish my Ann Arbor roots.  We sold after a seven year run.  Amazing.

​

I have been seated on several non-profit boards, including elected and appointed roles.  My service includes a community owned grocery, an annual arts event and a small health and human services provider.

​

I want to apply the knowledge and experiences I have gained to help smaller organizations improve themselves.  My passion for quality of life, delicious and healthful foods and meaningful work are all in play.

I believe that people of all stripes want to learn.
